In a day and age of social media and instant gratification people around the world have been struggling with social skills hence problems with being more interesting. Here’s the thing, it’s a skill and you only achieve mastery in a skill through practice. With that being said and out of the way here are 4 tips to help You be more Interesting:
1. Social Mastery:
In order to master your social skills, you have to be constantly at it and at the same time constantly learn from what works and what doesn’t. A great way to go about this is to find someone you are absolutely comfortable with and experiment with different body languages, tones, and topics. It is true that everyone is different but experimenting shouldn’t give you an insight of the person but rather yourself. You should develop a deep understanding of your strengths in conversations.
2. Don’t Stop Learning
Studies prove that we only stop learning until we die which is amazing since we have a lifetimes worth of learning ability, who said that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? The richer you become in knowledge and concepts the greater the variety of topics you have to talk about and possibly educate people about so the next time you watch a dramatic soapie turn on the news for a while, I promise it won’t hurt to know about what’s happening in the world around you.
3. Self- Improvement
Working on other skills in life is the perfect way to become more interesting. Let’s say you read a book on ‘passive income’ and maybe ask someone,” Hey, have you heard of making money online?” and their reply is a,”no” or maybe a, “yes” but they aren’t too sure about it. Now let’s say you reassure them with the knowledge you gained from reading, they will be utterly baffled and amazed. If you practiced tennis every day and you develop your reflexes and miraculously you one day save your colleagues mug from sudden death, well guess what you are seen as more interesting. Constantly work on yourself and slowly people will start to take notice of you and that would result in a greater interest in you.
4. Do Fun Stuff
Often knowledge isn’t enough or not the best thing to talk about at a certain moment this is where your experiences come in. Have a crazy hobby like mountain climbing, biking or hiking or whatever it is, just develop a passion for it and use it as a means of having fun! Now every time that you bring up the hobby or experience it is immediately linked to happiness in your head which would make you give off a charismatic vibe and allow for people to take interest in you.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope this was of some sort of help to you!
