How to Earn Respect From Others!

Respect= A feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. – Google

“I speak to everyone in the same way, whether he is the garbage man or the president of the university. ”

-Albert Einstein

Here are 4 Helpful Tips To Increase Your Respect Earnings:

1. Practice Humility

Amazingly enough, we are all good at something, it may not be big but the fact is that we are good at something. Another fact is that we are all equal and we should treat everyone as equals. It doesn’t matter if you earn 7 figures a year, there will always be someone out there who is happier or more successful than you. The trick here is to work in silence and let your successes speak for themselves instead of you having to make all the noise. Don’t boast! Make your successes something of meager value, it will constantly remind you that you need to keep growing as an individual. Be humble, always and make others feel good about themselves. Now that is a formidable way to earn the respect of another.

Stress can be a mess to manage

2. Talk Less

If we talk for most of the time then we will only repeat the knowledge we have accumulated which wouldn’t be a lot, hence you would just be an empty vessel making noise. On the other hand, if you kept quiet and observed more, then you would gather more knowledge and insight on people, objects and the environment around you. Let alone you would psychologically appear much more mysterious, added to that people will hold your opinion in high regard since your opinion is scarce.

3. Don’t Gossip about Others!

This is by far the most horrible activity to indulge in, not only is it addictive due to most people being experts at complaining but it is also the best way to reduce any chances of earning respect from anyone. Sure, some people can be a real pain in the butt but gossiping about them behind their backs isn’t going to help you deal with them. In any case you might see someone in a horrible way yet some may actually look up to them, the truth is we all have good and bad traits and sometimes more often than most people tend to get off on the wrong foot or misunderstand each (this is why mastering your social skills is a key factor in these situations.) Always remember to be the better person because life is generous enough to give us such a choice.

4. Be Confident

No, number 4 does not say be egotistical and nor does it say put others down so you can lift yourself up! Being confident always starts with your self-image and self- esteem even though it’s a much broader topic than that we will cover just the way you carry yourself out in this post. It doesn’t matter what you look like or are for that matter if you are confident there is nothing you can’t do in life. Confidence is a type of pride, not one where you are filled with the pride of being better than others but the pride of being you for who you are. Acceptance of your flaws is the best thing you could do for yourself, we are all different just accept it. Say to yourself how in love, happy and grateful you are to be you and why? Because the happier you are with being yourself the greater the feeling of contentment becomes when you help bring others up in life and serve the world as You! With such a powerful mindset no one can bring you down, expressing this kind of leadership will only earn you more respect!

Of course with that being said you must take care of yourself. You must trim what needs to be trimmed, comb what needs to be combed, brush what needs to be brushed and etcetera, I’m sure you get the point. Also, you should devote some good hours into your Self- Improvement, daily! (Exercise, Reading, Learning a new Skill, etc)
